Bridal Fashion Week was a total whirlwind, but after the sequins settled and the tulle subsided, we picked our 9 favorite trends from this season. From layering to shifting hemlines, reinvented sleeve designs to a surprising amount of color, keep reading to see the biggest trends of the season.
1. Fun & Fresh Floral Patterns
Bold floral patterns were seen on nearly every runway this season! Whether it was soft prints on chiffon and lace or hand-painted designs and embroidery, this trend is definitely one to keep in mind if you’re a bride who likes color.

2. Charming Capes
Modesty has never looked more seducing than with these sheer capes. Delicate lace and intricate beading make these capes wearable from the ceremony to the reception and all night long!

3. Elegant Overlay Skirts
For a little more oomph, without all the weight of layers of fabric, why not try an overlay skirt? They can wrap all the way around a fitted dress or begin at your hips and circle your waistline, adding dimension or serving as a train.

4. Sexy Off-The-Shoulder
A wide off-the-shoulder neckline shows off toned shoulders and your décolletage or can hide the all too common problem area of upper arms. What’s not to like?

5. Dramatic Deep-V
This is how you show skin at your wedding without revealing too much. A deep-V neckline is both dramatic and demure as well as a flattering cut for women with smaller busts.

6. 3-D Floral
We were thrilled to see flirty 3-D floral appliques in most collections this spring. These 3-D flowers add texture and interest to simple dresses or make a statement when stitched from head to toe.

7. High-Low Skirts
Bringing back a trend popularized in the 1950’s, this style shows off the toned legs you’ve been working on in spin class - and if you’re a shoe fanatic, there’s no better way to show off your bridal pumps!

8. Incredible Illusions
This barely-there style gives the illusion of more skin while still keeping you covered. Sheer necklines, sleeves, and even bodices make it seem like nothing’s there but skin and a touch of lace.

9. Delicate Flutter Sleeves
For an ethereal look, flutter sleeves add just a bit of bohemian glamour. Plus, when you’re giving off such strong Stevie Nicks vibes, how could you not want to dance the night away at your reception?
