There’s something happening in the air again – an ice cold chill, maybe it’s because… Winter is finally here! If you want to include your love of GOT in your Big Day but want nothing to do with the majorly horrifying “Red Wedding” – how about incorporating one of these Game of Thrones-inspired signature drinks to your cocktail menu? Are you ready for a real-life taste of the Seven Kingdoms?

1. The White Walker

Fill a tall glass with ice.
Pour white chocolate liqueur halfway up the glass.
Fill the rest of the glass up with vanilla cream soda.
Slowly and gently pour a spoonful of blue curaçao over the top (drink should look layered: light blue on top with white below).

2. Lady Sansa Stark

1 oz rose vodka (or any vodka, really)
1/4 oz saffron liquid (available online or in Middle Eastern markets or you can make it yourself by steeping a few strands of saffron in hot water)
1 1/2 oz sweet vermouth
1 1/2 oz lemongrass syrup or saffron & cardamom syrup (or just a basic simple syrup, equal parts sugar and water dissolved over heat then cooled, no need to stress out over annoying Sansa. Hmph.) juice of a juicy orange

Place a scoopful of ice in a cocktail shaker (or in a large glass).
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker and shake (or into a glass and stir).
Pour into a coupe or martini glass and garnish with a slice of starfruit (Sansa “Star”-k, get it? I used my lemongrass syrup because we all know how much Sansa loves her lemon cakes).

3. The Promised Prince

1 oz spiced rum
0.5 oz Fernet-Branca
3 oz crème de cacao
1 oz Guinness
Optional: black food coloring

Add spiced rum, Fernet-Branca, crème de cacao, and the optional black food coloring to cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass and top with Guinness.

4. Milk Of The Dragon

1/2 dragon fruit
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1.5 oz gin

Add dragon fruit to cocktail shaker and muddle with lime juice. Add simple syrup, gin, and ice, and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain into rocks glass. Garnish with dragon fruit.

5. The Red Woman

1 1/2 oz Cherry Vodka
1oz Silver Tequila
1oz Fireball
1 tbsp. Grenadine
3oz Pineapple juice
Silver sanding sugar
1 tbsp. Simple syrup
Ice

In a bar shaker add 3-4 pieces of ice, vodka, tequila, fireball and grenadine — shake well to combine. Top off with pineapple juice – Enjoy!

6. The Herbal Valar Morghulis

50ml gin
3 dashes absinthe
20ml lemon juice
Sprig of rosemary
Sprig of lavender
Tonic water

Shake all the ingredients together except for the tonic water. Then double-strain your drink through a sieve into a drinking horn (or glass) packed with crushed ice. Top up with the tonic water.

7. Mother Of Dragons

3 balls of dragon fruit cut out using 1/2 tsp spoon
Rosé champagne

Scoop the balls of dragon fruit out and place them in a champagne flute. Top with the Rosé.

8. Stormy Night Martini

1 ounce Sweet and Sour Mix
1 ounce Black Cherry Vodka
1 ounce Watermelon Pucker
1 ounce Blue Island Pucker
Lemon Slice
Seasonal pink or purple flowers

Into a cocktail shaker add sweet and sour mix, black cherry vodka, watermelon pucker, blue island pucker, lavender syrup, and ice. Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake aplenty for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled standard martini glass.

9. Wildfire-Inspired Cocktail

To make these bright green drinks, add one shot of vodka, one shot Midori Melon Liqueur, and a dash of simple syrup to club soda.

10. The Night’s Watch

2 Parts Hornitos® Black Barrel® Tequila
¾ Part Orange Juice
¾ Part Lemon Juice
¾ Part Agave
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
½ Part Beet Juice
Lemon Wedge

Serve in a tall glass over crushed ice with a beet juice float – the beet juice will slowly float down the glass through the crushed ice, making it look like blood dropping down. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
